Engelska 7 - gymnasium dagkurs - 19 veckor

This is the third course at Upper Secondary Level. While focusing on literary works and authors, English 7 immerses the student in a discussion of critical concepts and approaches. For example, the student will be required to read a classical novel and conduct a literary analysis while employing one or more of the critical concepts and approaches discussed in a course book. Great emphasis will be placed on source criticism, correct citation and deep critical analysis and thinking. Students will also be required to give an oral presentation on a well-researched topic wherein they present different positions within a particular contemporary and/or scientific debate.
