Undervisningen sker torsdagar 17:30-20:30 i skolan på Fabriksgatan Du förväntas lägga ned ca 10 timmar per vecka på lektioner och hemarbete.
English level 1 is the first course at Upper Secondary level and builds upon Lower Secondary level (grundskolan) English. It involves developing your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Students are required to take part in both group and classroom discussions, give speeches and complete 3-4 written assignments, two of which will be tested during lesson time. You will purchase and use a course book as well as other material and also read at least one novel (roman) borrowed from the school library. At the end of the course you will also write a National test. It is important to come to class prepared since you will be assessed both on the basis of classroom activities and tests. Since there is only one class per week you will be required to work a lot from home.
